Canadian brand Saje Natural Wellness was a leader in the wellness space long before there were such terms as “wellness space.” 

The brand remedies real life issues ranging from pain through sleep troubles by blending 100% natural essential oil products. Thirty years in business selling holistic solutions, including products licensed by Health Canada, built them a devoted community. 

The challenge of new product launches was to generate excitement for new innovation, and lure in new customers, without alienating the foundation that gave the brand credibility. The core product assortment had a trustworthy, apothecary aesthetic of amber glass with a minimal palette.

Balance offered a solution. The apothecary feel was expanded to include more clinical type lockups. Charts and data drove the launch of the ailment-specific Dermedial skincare lines. The science of ingredients was front and center on the Quick Hit inhalers. 

Emotion provided the balance. Hand-rendered paintings on diffuser blend collections boxes gave feelings a focal point. Tactility and versatility were celebrated with a renovation of the brand hero Pocket Farmacy roll-on kits to a modern wallet style. Diffusers delved into new humanistic territory embracing the tactility of hand thrown ceramics and a more modern silhouette. 

Expanding the core assortment of products without sacrificing its trustworthy, medicinal sensibility resulted in an expanded customer base and year-over-year growth.
